"I bought this piano bundle a few months ago. It was a good deal, and even better after the discount for being a first time customer of Austin Bazaar. The Gearlux furniture bench is great. The book and DVD were not of use to me, as I am not a beginner. The piano: The acoustic piano has good sound quality, especially in the bass range. There are some good sounds among the many other tones, but they are not all of good quality. I used the 17 track recorder to record one of my movie music pieces as if I was the orchestra. That many tracks ensures that I will not run out of tracks before I have recorded all of the parts. The touch screen interface is nice. Pretty much my only complaint is that once in a while, when I turn the piano on, the pedal's effect is reversed so that pressing the pedal is like letting the pedal up, and vice versa. So I have to turn the piano off and back on to correct the problem. I like the touch responsiveness of the (tri-sensor) keyboard. It gives me a good amount of control over the volume of each key I press. There is some mechanical noise from the keys, but they're a little quieter than the ones on my old Casio were. When I'm playing at an adequate volume level, I don't really notice the noise. The auto accompaniments are interesting, especially the traditional music section. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and there are a lot of features for the money I spent."

"Very nice instrument. Controls are easy to use. Sounds fantastic with speakers in stand. Very nice key action and feel. Bench is much, much nicer than I expected - heavy metal with compartment, firm cushion."

"I purchased this as a replacement for my ten year old Casio WK-8000. While I loved the organ tones on the 8000 the piano was never that impressive. I learned to play on an organ but recently I've been getting more serious about the piano so I decided to upgrade to something with a more convincing acoustic piano feel and tone. The CGP-700 delivers that, while offering hundreds of other sounds, a powerful built-in speaker system and a sturdy stand - all for under $800. Pros: Great value. The touch screen and button layouts are logical and easy to master. The built-in amp/speakers put out plenty of sound. It's lightweight and compact in size. The keys have a nice "ivory' feel to them. Cons: There's no expression petal jack (but there's a line out which can feed an amp with a petal in-between). The touch screen is not as responsive as an average smart phone screen so you often have to repeat the action for the desired result. The organ tones are not as plentiful or as customize-able as some of the other Casio models (including my old WK-8000). My last Casio is still working perfectly after ten years use. Hopefully this will do the same. If you're looking for a convincing digital piano at a reasonable price, but need a plethora of other sounds in the same instrument this might be your answer. Lastly, I purchased mine from Austin Bazaar, who threw in a bunch more free stuff, making this an even better deal. "

"I love how many different sounds there are, and the built in midi recording is extremely useful. I haven't tried to transfer anything to my computer yet, though. The pedal is... well, not that great, but a new one is pretty cheap, so I'll get that when I get around to it. The sound without the speakers from the sound is tinny, but not terribly so. All in all, I like it!"
